Luxembourg
The quiet green
I grew up between two very different kinds of green. In Luxembourg, the green is quiet and orderly — the Müllerthal forests where the rocks are covered in moss and the rivers run clear, the Ardennes hills that turn gold in autumn, little castles perched on the cliffs. Everything is gentle here. The air is soft. People walk slowly. That's where I learned that beauty isn't loud. It's the small things, done with care, every day.
Malaysia
The living green
Then there's Malaysia — my other home. In Malaysia, the green is wild and alive: rainforest that breathes, tea plantations rolling over the Cameron Highlands, beaches where the water is so clear it doesn't feel real. It's loud, it's warm, it's generous. You learn there that beauty is also abundance — colour, energy, life pouring out of everything.
Two homes, two truths
Two homes taught me two truths: beauty is in the quiet care, and beauty is in the small things done well. Senaison is both of those truths in one place.
Why I started Senaison
I didn't start Senaison to sell products. I started it because I was tired of buying things that looked good in a photo but fell apart in real life.
So I made a promise to myself: nothing goes on this shop unless I've held it, used it, and genuinely loved it. Every single product here — the hair tools, the nail care, the pet brushes, the little home gadgets — is something I've tested with my own hands.
If a straightener pulls my hair, it doesn't make the cut. If a nail drill feels flimsy, it's gone. If a pet brush doesn't actually get the fur off the sofa, I don't care how nice the photo is — it's out.
What "curated" means to me
Most shops just list products. I choose them, the way you'd choose a gift for someone you care about.
- I test every product myself — sometimes for weeks.
- I read the reviews real customers leave, and only keep what actually works.
- I only keep the few that are genuinely good — not a wall of everything.
That's why Senaison is small on purpose. Thirteen products, each one earning its place. If it's here, I'd buy it again.
